Before your Exam

Complete a Systems Check
Each test-taker must complete a system check before test day to ensure the computer is ready.
- Recent operating system (less than 3–4 years old)
- Mac, PC, or Chromebook
- Google Chrome browser
- Working webcam and microphone
- Internet connection (minimum 3 Mbps upload)

When prompted for camera and microphone access, click “Allow”.
If your system is not compatible, contact Prov at (866)-720-7768 to reschedule.

Prepare Your Testing Area
Your desk and surroundings will be checked during onboarding. Remove all unnecessary items.
Only approved materials are allowed, and they must be in printed format.
Digital documents or PDFs are not permitted during the test.

Bring a Valid Photo ID
You must present a valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, or military ID).
Temporary IDs are not accepted. Failure to present valid ID may result in losing your exam fee.
Check your candidate bulletin for state-specific requirements.
On the Day of Your Exam
